The Chairman founded Harlow Tekkers FC in 2020, originally with the idea of it being 1 team for his son.
Word spread, interest grew and before we knew it we had 5 teams ready to affiliate for our first season. Fast forward 5 years, we have 25 teams and a fantastic community of players, parents and coaches.
There have been many ups and downs along the way, we took the ups and ran with them and we learned from the downs.
We have no desire to be the biggest club in town, but we do want to be the best. We simply want a community that turn up each week, give it their all, make friends, laugh and enjoy playing the beautiful game.
In 2024 we submitted interest to lease The Pavilion in Gilden Park. The Pavilion is a brand new clubhouse with pitches.
The Chairman took it upon himself to focus all his time on winning this site, and after 8 months of long days and nights, he received the call we were all hoping for.
We now have the space to create an even better environment for our teams and the community.
Tekkers thrives thanks to our dedicated coaches, players, parents, and supporters. We’re thrilled to grow each year and can't wait to see even more players wearing our iconic orange shirts!
We firmly believe that humility is an essential characteristic as we seek to improve every day. Everything that we achieve is the result of sacrifice and hard work, and humility enables us to avoid becoming complacence. Our overriding mentality is our winning spirit, which defines our attitude in every respect and sees us adopt a positive attitude to the objectives we set ourselves each season.
